Low-cost airline to begin flights out of Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, a new, low-cost airline is set to begin flights out of Kalamazoo.
Direct Air will begin non-stop flights from Kalamazoo to either Orlando or Fort Myers on Saturday. There are also flights on Monday, all starting at $99.
Direct Air's service will expand again in March, when flights will be available to and from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
