Arrest made after disabled veteran asked to leave service dog outside at local restaurant
KENT COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police in Kent County say they have made an arrest after a November incident where a disabled veteran says he was asked to take his guide dog outside.
Police say they have charged a 21-year-old woman from Kentwood with refusing accommodations to persons with disabilities led by dogs. That charge is a 90 day misdemeanor. The woman's name is not being released until she is arraigned on February 8th.
