Funeral for young boy killed in fire
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Friends and family prepare to say goodbye to a toddler killed in an Allegan County house fire.
Scott Bogseth died just days shy of his third birthday.
He was sleeping when his home near Pullman caught fire early Thursday morning.
Eight other people in that house made it out, but Scott did not.
Fire investigators say last week's wind storm knocked out power to the house and the families who lived there were using candles to get by. They think one of those candles started the fire.
The visitation service for Scott starts at 11:00 Tuesday morning at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven.
His funeral will follow at 1:00.
The Bogseth family set up a trust fund in Scott's honor with the Berrien Teachers Credit Union. You can donate at Fennville Elementary or Even Start.
