Truck crashes into home, bursts into flame

NEAR CUTLERVILLE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A truck crashed into a Kent County home Thursday, started a fire and sent a man to the hospital.
It happened Thursday afternoon on South Park Drive near Cutlerville.
Deputies say Michael Bowman from Middleville suffered a medical condition and lost control of his pickup.
The truck went through a field, smashed into the back of a home and started going into the basement.
The truck then caught on fire and smoke started to fill the home.
Rescuers found Bowman still in the driver's seat. They got him out and put out the fire.
He was taken to the hospital. There is no word yet on his condition.
No one else was hurt.
