Elizabeth Erwin
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Elizabeth Erwin joined NewsChannel 3 as the Shoreline Bureau reporter in June 2008. The Chicago native spent many summer vacations along the Michigan shoreline, and she is thrilled to be back reporting stories that affect her new neighbors.
Before joining NewsChannel 3, Elizabeth worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WOI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa. In the Hawkeye State she covered everything from tornadoes that leveled entire towns to the National Special Olympics to the 2008 Iowa Caucauses. While in Iowa, Elizabeth was recognized for her investigative reporting by the Iowa Broadcast News Association. Prior to that, Elizabeth was a reporter for KCAU-TV in Sioux City, Iowa.
Elizabeth graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in college, she anchored and reported for a cable news program broadcast throughout the St. Louis, MO area and completed an internship at KPLR-TV in St. Louis.
When she's not chasing down a story, Elizabeth likes to spend time with friends and family and explore her new home (especially the beautiful beaches) with her Yorkie, Bianca. Elizabeth currently resides in Holland.
If you have a shoreline story idea, Elizabeth would love to hear from you! You can e-mail her at eerwin@wwmt.com.
