Man thrown from car during drunk driving accident

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A 20-year-old man is in the hospital after being thrown from his car during an accident.
Police say the man from Union City was drunk and not wearing a seat belt.
It happened on 9 1/2 mile road just south of Q Drive. Police say the man was driving at very high speeds at the time of the accident.
He is listed in stable condition at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
