Youth agency finds floating couches in building

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Youth for Christ agency in Kalamazoo found itself waterlogged after the weekend storms.
Workers showed up Sunday to find three and a half feet of water inside their building.
Volunteers tried to save what they could. Furniture, a few big-screen TVs and video games, much of it donated, has all been damaged.
The first person to arrive there says he found a soaked mess.
"Couches were floating, the TVs were under water, I was like o my goodness, lord help us," said Scott McCloughan.
Workers say they knew the building was in a flood zone but they've never seen anything like this before.
