Allegan Co. cold case suspect caught

ALLEGAN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - An Allegan County cold case suspect has been caught by police in Indiana.
Back in 1993, deputies says Van Buren Hutchison raped and killed 28-year-old Jeanette Reaves. Her partially-nude body was later found in the Kalamazoo River, in a remote section of the Allegan State Game area.
On Friday morning, investigators told local media outlets that they believed Hutchison could be hiding in Berrien County or South Bend, Indiana.
Thanks to tips from the public, Hutchison was found on Friday in Indiana, and is now in police custody.
