PORTAGE, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in Portage arrested three men around 4:00 a.m. Monday morning for breaking into cars.

A man saw someone trying to break into a neighbor's car on Lakeview Street in Portage. When police arrived they found stolen GPS units, cell phones, video games and MP3 players in a nearby car. They took three men into custody.

The men confessed to breaking into several vehicles in the area according to police.
