Bank Robbery in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A completely covered bank robbery suspect makes off with some cash.

The Grand Rapids Police Department says it happened around 10:40a.m. Saturday at the Chase Bank on the 1000 block of Breton Avenue SE.

Chase Bank tellers told police a man entered the bank and demanded money. He did not have a weapon. The suspect took the cash and took off in a white 1990's Pontiac Bonneville with rust on the bottom.

The suspect is described as a guy about 5'8" tall, about 175 pounds, wearing a royal blue zip up sweatshirt with red lettering on the front. He was disguised by a white cloth mask, sun glasses, gloves and black pants. He put the cash in a brown leather bag.
