Burned Body Found Near South Haven

(NEWSCHANNEL 3) Casco Township, Allegan County, A burned out car and body were discovered Saturday afternoon.  Allegan County Sheriff's deputies and the Michigan State Police are investigating.  The car was discovered in a remote area along 74th street north of South Haven.

When deputies arrived they found the burned car, and badly burned body near by.   An autopsy is expected to reveal the identity and how the person died.   The remote area is leaving investigators with few witnesses.  Newschannel 3 has a crew on the scene and will provide updates as the investigation continues.
