Pedestrian Hit and Killed

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, Mich (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police in St. Joseph County say foggy conditions may be to blame for a fatal accident Saturday morning.

Katori Wyckoff, 29, of Mendon was driving westbound on Centreville Constantine Road when she hit David Boote, 19, of White Pigeon. Boote died at the scene.

Sheriff's deputies say Boote was walking along side the road dressed in dark clothing, which also may have made it difficult for the Wyckoff to see him.

The accident is still under investigation.
