2 break-ins overnight

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Police are investigating two business break-ins in Grand Rapids.

The first happened around 1:30 Thursday morning. Someone spotted a couple of teenagers running away from the Miti-Mini store on Giddings Avenue.

Officers tried to track them down but couldn't find them. They got away with some cigarettes.

About an hour later someone broke into the Liberty Life bookstore on Wealthy Street.

Police say an employee living upstairs heard breaking glass.

That person took off with a computer.

If you have any information in either case call Grand Rapids police.
