NEAR PARCHMENT, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - In Kalamazoo County, deputies say they found a meth lab while they investigated a break-in.
It all started Saturday afternoon at a home on Tanda Avenue near Parchment when a man heard footsteps in his house.
He found two teenage intruders and they jumped out a second story window to escape.
The homeowner recognized their car as one of his son's friends and called police.
Deputies tracked down one of the suspects at his home on McKinley Street.
They found stolen property there and also discovered an active meth lab in his bedroom.
Two people at that house were arrested.
The other boy involved in the break-in is still on the loose.
