CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Over the weekend, investigators found the body of Ralph Rantz and his son Ryan in a Pineknoll Apartment in Emmett township. Both had been shot to death.

On Wednesday the autopsy results came in, which showed that 8-year-old Ryan had been shot twice, once in the back and again in the chest. Investigators say that Ralph Rantz then shot himself in the head. The case has been ruled a murder-suicide.
