Principal faces judge for drunk driving charges
OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A local elementary school principal will face a judge Wednesday to see if she'll stand trial on drunk driving charges.
Cynthia Liu is charged with OWI, fleeing and eluding and having an open alcohol container in her car.
Ottawa County deputies arrested her back in September.
Liu is the principal at Pinewood Elementary School, but she's currently on paid leave pending the outcome of the case.
Liu also faces charges for a suspected hit-and-run crash in South Haven.
