Remembering a Police Chief

DELTON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - On Monday, the Village of Delton gathered to remember the man who served as their police chief for the last three decades.
Chief Mark Kik died in Delton, after apparently taking his own life.
On Monday, his loved ones said their goodbyes at a funeral in Richland which followed a procession through Delton.
The family asked that instead of sending flowers, people make donations in Kik's honor to their local animal shelter.
