EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A serious two car accident caused some congestion on a busy road Saturday.

The Kent County Sheriff's Department says the collision happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Beltline Ave. and Fulton St. One driver involved in the crash was pinned in their vehicle.

Rescue crews were on the scene for over an hour trying to pry the driver out. There is no word on their condition.
