GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kent County deputies are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Gaines Township.

The accident happened around 8:30 Friday morning on 84^th street.

A 20-year-old Caledonia man was killed after his bike rear-ended a jeep. The driver of the jeep had slowed down to make a turn when the motorcycle hit him.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and later died at the hospital.
