Crash near I-94 closes ramp

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. (M-DOT) - Early Tuesday morning a vehicle knocked down a utility pole near I-94 Exit 66 (CR 652 in Mattawan) in Van Buren County.

As a result the westbound I-94 off-ramp at Exit 66 and CR 652 bridge over I-94 are closed until power can be restored. Police are directing traffic and Consumers Energy is replacing the utility pole and wires. The traffic signal at that location is temporarily out of service.

The Michigan Department of Transportation expects the ramp and bridge will reopen and power will be restored to the traffic signal around noon Tuesday.
