Rash of car break-ins

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Investigators in Battle Creek want to know who's breaking into cars.

 

Reports say that Battle Creek Police are searching for two people. Officers think they broke into almost 20 vehicles on the city's north side Wednesday.

 

Police say the suspects smashed the windows of cars and trucks parked on the streets or in driveways, and stole items from inside the vehicles.

 

Some of the thefts were reported on Fremont, Guest, and Yale Streets, and McKinley, Garrison LaThrop and Orchard Avenues.

 

The thefts are believed to have occurred between midnight and 6:00 am Wednesday.
