Dawson trial goes to jury
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The fate of Tim Dawson is now in the hands of a jury.
Dawson is charged with his wife, Julia's, 2005 murder.
Julia Dawson's beaten and strangled body was found alongside a Montcalm County road in early January 2005, she'd been missing for three weeks.
Wednesday morning saw closing arguments from the defense as attorney Charles Rominger took two hours to address the jury one last time.
"Tim Dawson had nothing, nothing to do with the tragic loss of his wife," Rominger said.
The jury will continue their deliberations, beginning Thursday morning at nine.
