Boy Attacked by Family Dog

LEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A 5-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital after being attacked by his own dog.
The Allegan County Sheriff's Department says the attack happened on the 700 block of 58th Street Sunday afternoon. Police say the German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix bit the boy on his hand and head. Police are not sure what caused the attack.
