HOLLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A research facility in Holland is getting a big boost Friday.
The Michigan Economic Development Corporation is awarding the MSU Bio-economy Institute with $1.4 million in funding.
That project started three years ago when Pfizer donated a building to be used for developing bio-based fuels, plastics and chemicals.
The goal is to put 100 researchers to work there.
