Apartment building evacuated by fire

WAYLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A fire in a laundry room forced evacuations at an Allegan County apartment building.
A little after 6:00 Thursday morning smoke started filling a building at Village Green Apartments in Wayland.
Firefighters got everyone out and got the fire under control quickly.
The Fire Marshall will investigate Thursday to determine the cause of the fire.
People have been allowed back into their apartments.
