Ford home up for sale

RANCHO MIRAGE, California (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Gerald R. Ford's home in California is up for sale, but you'll have to have pretty deep pockets if you want to buy it.
It's on the block for nearly $1.7 million, but it comes with quite a view.
It sits on the 13th fairway of the Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage.
It's got more than 6,300 square feet of space with five bedrooms and six and a half baths.
The home was built when Ford left the White House. Gerald and Betty moved there in 1979 and lived there until his death in 2006 and hers last year.
