Gobles man admits to killing his mother

GOBLES, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A Gobles man has admitted that he killed his mother.
James Bachelder recently pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of his 79-year-old mother Joan.
James pushed her down the stairs of their home back on February 13th, she died on March 1st.
Bachelder's trial was scheduled to begin in December, he will be sentenced on January 4th.
