Couple accused of defrauding government

MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Montcalm County couple faces charges for trying to defraud the government.
A federal jury indicted Johnathon and Angela Fancett. Jonathon runs Lakeview Lawncare and his wife keeps the books.
Investigators say the couple did not file payroll tax returns or pay federal employment taxes between 2001 and 2007.
They also say the couple lied on returns they did file.
The Fancetts both face charges for conspiracy and filing false claims.
