Republican gubernatorial candidates to meet in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We're still about a year and a half away from the vote for governor in 2010, but several republican candidates are coming together in Grand Rapids Monday to discuss the race.
The Kent County GOP is hosting a reception for those candidates Monday night at the River House Condos at Bridgewater Place.
Congressman Pete Hoekstra, State Senator Tom George, Attorney General Mike Cox and Sheriff Mike Bouchard are all expected to attend.
It begins at 5:30 and tickets are required.
