Man found guilty of two counts of criminal sexual conduct
VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A jury in Van Buren County has found a 35-year-old man guilty of two counts criminal sexual conduct involving a six-year-old girl.
In July of 2009, Van Buren County Deputies were called to the scene of an alleged criminal sexual assault in Paw Paw.
Investigators determined that Ronald Vore III was the suspect and the victim was a six=year-old girl. Vore was babysitting the girl and two of her siblings at the time of the assault. The assault was brought to the parents attention by the victim. At the time of the assault Vore was a friend of the parents.
Vore’s trial began on January 26th, and a jury returned with a guilty verdict on January 27th. He was found guilty on counts of both first and second degree criminal sexual conduct.
Sentencing is scheduled for February 22nd.
