Boil water advisory lifted in South Haven
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – The City of South Haven has ended the boil water notice that had been issued on Monday.
The boil water notice had affected customers in South Haven Township after a water main broke along M-43.
The City of South Haven says they have preformed bacteriological testing as required by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and all samples indicate that the water is now safe for consumption.
City officials say that, while it is not required, residents may want to flush their water lines by opening the lines for five minutes before using the water.
