Holly Doyle was promoted to NEWSCHANNEL 3 Morning Anchor in October, 2006. She joined the NEWSCHANNEL 3 staff as Weekend Producer/Associate Producer in 2001 and assumed reporting duties in January, 2003. A native of West Michigan, Holly grew up in Lawrence. The Missouri Associated Press awarded Holly's work for best Spot News in 1998.
Before coming to NEWSCHANNEL 3, Holly was the Weekend Anchor/Producer/Reporter at WGEM-TV (NBC) in Quincy, Illinois. During her four years at that station, she worked in various newsroom positions, including producer, reporter and anchor. She was selected to cover the Presidential visit in 2001, as well as a high-profile trial stemming from the floods of 1993. Holly also held internships at WBBH in Fort Myers, Florida and WOTV in Battle Creek.
Holly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with concentrations in Political Science and Spanish.
Holly takes time to stay active in the West Michigan community, speaking to students at area schools and emceeing local charity events.
Holly and her husband just welcomed their first child, a daughter, Mackenzie, into their home.
