A new pill could change that statistic.
It's called Abiraterone, and in recent tests it shrank tumors in advance stages of the disease that had previously been unresponsive to treatment.
The pill works by blocking the hormones that help the tumors grow.
Researchers are waiting on results from a larger study for verification.
