Post-Holiday Storm could bring 10 Inches to State
Comments 0 | Recommend 0DETROIT (AP) - The National Weather Service says up to 10 inches of snow could fall across parts of Michigan's Lower Peninsula as weary Thanksgiving travelers try to make their way home.
A strong low pressure system moving northeast through Kentucky and Indiana was expected to usher in a swath of heavy snow starting Sunday evening and going through late Monday.
Meteorologist Heather Orow of the National Weather Service's office in Oakland County's White Lake Township says an area from Flint northward could between 6 and 10 inches. Southwestern Michigan's Berrien County could see similar totals.
