Police search for suspect involved in violent break-in
CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Calhoun County deputies are searching for one of two men involved in a violent home break-in.
Corey Henry already faces charges ranging from home invasion to unlawful imprisonment. He had his first appearance in court Thursday.
Investigators say Monday night, he and another man pretended they ran out of gas in Tekonsha. They knocked on a door on North Elm Street and then forced their way in when someone opened it.
Deputies say the men held the homeowner and his girlfriend at gunpoint. There was a struggle and one of the suspects was shot.
They made a run for it, but deputies caught Henry.
The other suspect is on the loose.
