Negotiations continue at Borgess
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Collective bargaining negotiations continue at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
The contract for more than 300 union workers expired on September 30th and those workers have been working under extensions ever since.
Negotiators seem to be having trouble with the proposed wage increase, which union leaders say won't cover the estimated increase in employee's health-care costs.
Both sides say they are negotiating in good faith and have hopes of getting a deal soon.
