Kalamazoo-Battle Creek Airport to renovate

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A major renovation project at the Kalamazoo-Battle Creek Airport is now set to get off the ground thanks to millions of dollars in grants.
On Thursday, the FAA awarded the airport more than six million dollars, enough to begin construction of the new airport terminal which will feature a larger area for security checkpoints and an expanded baggage claim.
Officials will break ground on the new terminal on June 29th.
