KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A woman is in the hospital after loosing control of her vehicle.
The Kalamazoo Sheriff's Department says it happened around 7a.m. Saturday on South 38th Street just south of Miller Drive.
Police say Mary Ann Slater, 60, of Galesburg drifted off the road, skidded sideways, rolled several times, landed on her roof and struck a group of trees.
Slater told police she felt something come loose in her steering mechanism before she lost control of her vehicle. She was taken to the hospital for her injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
