Reunited with their stolen dog

KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - One day after their home was raided and trashed by burglars, a Kalamazoo area family has been reunited with their stolen pet.

As the family slept in Sunday morning after a weekend trip to Chicago, someone broke into the Taylor's home in Kalamazoo Township.

The thieves took just about everything, electronics, cars, and even the family dog.

Now, after seeing the Taylor's story on Newschannel 3, someone recognized that dog.

"A lady seen the dog on News 3 last night, she called News 3 this morning," said Tim Taylor.

Taylor says the woman told him that people were trying to fight the dog, but sold him to her. She was hoping to breed the dog.

Taylor has already recovered his stolen Jeep and police say they have some good leads that could lead them to the burglars.
