Man charged in double shooting in Kalamazoo
KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A Kalamazoo County man will face charges in a recent double shooting that left one man dead.
25-year-old Timmy Doss has been charged with open murder, assault with intent to commit murder, and weapons charges among others.
Police say Doss shot DeJuan Davis and Virgil Love on October 29th during a fight at the corner of Portage Street and Washington Avenue. Davis was killed, Love has since been released from the hospital.
Doss was already in the Kalamazoo County Jail on a parole violation when charged.
