Kalamazoo River Valley Trail expands

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Kalamazoo is set to open some new territory for walkers and bike riders.
At 12:30 Friday leaders will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the next portion of the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail.
It extends from Gull Road to Mosel and extends the trail to more than eight miles.
Back in October the Mid-America Trails and Greenways Conference named the trail Michigan's "Project of the Year."
