2 Drivers Dead after Accident

KENT CITY, Mich (Newschannel 3) - A Jeep blew through a stop sign and smashed into another vehicle killing both drivers.

The Kent County Sheriff's department says the accident happened around 11:30p.m. Friday on 21 Mile Road and Kenowa Avenue. Nicholas Zaharzecki, 25, of Newaygo was heading northbound on Kenowa Avenue whe he ran a stop sign 21 Mile Road. He and collided with a Ford pick up truck driven by Timothy Grice, 42, of Tyrone.

Zaharzecki died at the seat and his passenger Tabatha Ensing, 31 of Newaygo was transported to the hospital where she is listed in critical condition with severe head injury. Grice was also pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation. Anyone that witnessed the crash is asked to call the Kent County Sheriff's Department at 1-800-442-4661.
