Accused of molesting a child

HASTINGS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A Colorado man heads to court in Barry County Wednesday. He's accused of molesting a child.
Investigators say Robert Smelser moved to Hastings over the summer after he met the girl's mother online.
Police believe he started abusing the 7-year-old in July but they didn't find out about it until November.
Wednesday a judge will decide if there is enough evidence to send Smelser to trial on criminal sexual conduct charges.
