Three small children found in home during meth bust
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Police in Kalamazoo moved in on a meth lab Friday morning and found three small children inside the home.
The bust took place just before 2:00 am Friday morning in the 2500 block of East Cork Street.
Officers say they found an operating lab and the materials needed to produce meth. They also found three small children inside the home.
Two men, ages 23 and 20, were taken into custody on outstanding warrants. Those men will be charged with child neglect, manufacturing meth, and possession of marijuana.
Three other Kalamazoo residents face the same charges.
The names of those charged will be released after they are arraigned.
