1,000 Census jobs still available

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – The Census is still looking for workers in West Michigan.

The local Census Office Manager David Wiemerslage says that there are still 1,000 jobs available in Allegan, Van Buren, Berrien, Cass and Kalamazoo Counties.

To get a job with the Census you have to be 18 years of age or older, be able to prove U.S. citizenship, pass a 28 question basic skills test and pass a background check.

The pay ranges from $10.50 to $14.00 an hour.
