School administrators accused of breaking the law regarding threat at local school
WAYLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – Parents at a local school district are worried that the district kept them out of the loop when their children may have been in danger.
The concern is over a bomb threat that the parents never found out about.
Newschannel 3 recently turned up the heat on the school leader who made the call.
Many in law enforcement will tell you that looking back on some of the biggest school shootings in history, cooperation was a big key in being able to handle the situation, but locally there are some major questions about whether top leaders in Wayland are cooperating after a recent threat.

However, Newschannel 3's investigation has turned up evidence of what some in Wayland are calling a cover-up.
It wasn't easy to get answers as Newschannel 3 tried to get to the bottom of the story, talking to school administrators, local police, and even to the parent of the boy accused of making the threat.
