Teen enters plea in deadly boating accident
OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – In Ottawa County Court on Tuesday, a Spring Lake teenager entered a plea in a deadly boating accident.
14-year-old Jack McKeough pleaded no contest on Tuesday to a charge of marine safety and negligent crippling.
On September 5th of 2009 the boat McKeough was driving collided with a jet ski, killing the jet ski's driver, 15-year-old Robby Jerovsek.
McKeough was charged with negligent homicide and reckless operation of a watercraft. He admitted he was distracted when he collided with Javorsek.
A hearing is scheduled for March 25th.
