Mentally fit to stand trial for murder

COLDWATER, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A judge has ruled that a West Michigan man mentally fit to stand trial in a Branch County murder.
State police say Kenneth Kalasz shot Donald Miller to death in February at the Country Meadows Home in Montgomery.
Both of them lived at the foster care facility.
Court records show Kalasz confessed to killing Miller. He's scheduled to head back to court next month.
