Another movie coming to Michigan
HOLLAND, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - We're just learning about a new movie that could bring big bucks to Michigan.
Tic-Tock Studios just announced a film called "What's Wrong With Virginia" will start shooting in Michigan this summer.
It's directed by Dustin Lance Black, who wrote "Milk", and also stars Jennifer Connelly and Liam Neeson. Gus Van Sant will be the executive producer.
Hopwood Depree, who heads up the Waterfront Film Festival in Saugatuck will help finance production. He's one of the owners of Tic-Tock Studios, which was started in 2006 to help attract film and TV production to Michigan.
