From Memphis to Michigan on bicycle

WEST MICHIGAN (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A journey came to an end in West Michigan Tuesday.

One couple traveled from Memphis to Michigan, on bicycles.

Bob and Stacey Wood completed their journey on Tuesday when they arrived in Byron Center where their sister Jana is being cared for.

Jana has ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, Bob and Stacey thought riding all the way from Memphis would be a great way to raise awareness about the disease, but they say they learned a whole lot along the way.

The Woods are also raising money for ALS treatment and research. They're raised more than $1,500 so far and say the donations are still coming in.
